Saturday 4 February 2012
Additional speaker information
David Robertson
Director of Pastoral Care (under 30s)
Heather Robertson
Assistant Director of Pastoral Care (under 30s)
David and Heather have served in church leadership for 25 years. They pioneered the development of Cell Based Churches in The Salvation Army from their base in Nottingham before joining the senior leadership team at Kingsgate Community Church in the summer of 2010. They have a passion to build local church that reaches lost people and helps grow them into disciples of Jesus.
KingsGate Community Church has centres in Peterborough and Cambridge and is a thriving church committed to loving God and loving people.
Senior Pastors Dave & Karen Smith planted the church twenty three years ago and now, everywhere you turn, there are people of all ages, from different cultures and walks of life – at various stages on their journey of faith in Jesus Christ, who have incredible stories to tell of how God has transformed their lives. A combination of vibrant celebration, discipleship cells and missional clusters have aided growth in both numbers and maturity.
