A common dream held by many of us is that we long to see a church where every member in ministry is a reality; where everybody feels equipped and empowered to do what they are called to do at a local level in their workplace and in life. To achieve this dream we need a new style of leadership: Leadership as Jazz.
This recognises that not everybody sings to one top-down leadership rhythm; that in a new style of church and leadership we create space for people to find their rhythm, to do things that as leaders we would never have dreamed of, and yet as we take the risk of empowering and equipping people who knows what God might create!
This is a topic close to Trevor’s heart, and which he has been developing and implementing for some time. In this training and discussion day we will look at the practical aspects of creating space and how we empower people for local church, for work, for life.
